Tango is a runtime library for D which replaces Phobos in D1.x. For more information related to Tango and Phobos in D1.x and D2.x, see Standard Library.

The runtime part of Tango ultimately started via the PhobosRising (Ares) process, and started in full in mid 2006 as a merge between Ares and Mango.

Tango has a high quality runtime, and a large set of useful and highly efficient functionality.
