How To /
Avoid Line Wrapping

Hi Helmut, How can one avoid line wrapping so that, for example, in writing a poem or in storing a chat the lines don't all wrap into a paragraph? I think that in HTML there is a PRE bracket. Is there any markup in ProWiki that can be used to keep the lines from wrapping? SashaMrkailo asked this regarding the chats on his page. AndriusKulikauskas May 31, 2007 23:16 CET

Andrius, there are two ways to do it. This is the classical way, using an indented list:

This is the pragmatic way, using the HTML <br> tag:

How

wrapping?

One can also use CdmlCode or CdmlText, if one needs more layout features. -- HelmutLeitner June 1, 2007 7:38 CET

Helmut, Thank you. I'm looking for a way that would let me not have to fix every line, which can be labor intensive. I will take a look at CdmlCode and CdmlText. Yes, CdmlCode is what I want here, and CdmlText is also good to know abut. AndriusKulikauskas June 4, 2007 18:02 CET
